Tyler Shoemaker is a seasoned Sprint Car and Midget racer with more than three decades of experience behind the wheel. He began racing quarter midgets at just seven years old, quickly establishing himself as a consistent winner before advancing into go-karts and pavement midgets.

By 19, he transitioned into non-wing sprint cars and captured the 2005 UMARA Dirt Series Championship, proving his ability to compete at a high level. Over the years, he has earned multiple heat race victories and continues to demonstrate speed and consistency in both sprint cars and midgets.

In 2009, Tyler signed an ARCA contract, a milestone that reflected his talent and upward trajectory, though the opportunity was ultimately limited by sponsorship funding. Rather than stepping away, he continued building his career through perseverance and dedication to the sport.

In 2014, he made the move into winged sprint cars, adding another chapter to an already diverse racing resume. In 2023, he captured a win in the O-Main at the prestigious Chili Bowl Nationals, reinforcing his competitive edge on one of dirt racing’s biggest stages.

Now at 40 years old, Tyler remains focused on chasing wins in winged 305 sprint cars and midgets. Racing is more than a career path for him. It is a lifelong commitment fueled by discipline, resilience, and a deep-rooted passion for competition. Influenced by his father, a former stock car and sprint car racer, he carries forward a legacy built on grit and determination every time he straps in.
